Privacy & scores
Pipe Dream / 95 stores the name, highest altitude, active run time and checkpoint times you choose to submit on a public leaderboard. Use a nickname, not personal information. Submitted scores and names are visible to other visitors.
The username you enter at Login, your personal records and fastest checkpoint times are saved in local storage on this device. Login selects a local nickname; it does not create a password-protected online account. Your music preference, crossfade setting and desktop theme are also saved locally. Clearing browser data removes these records and preferences.
My Pipes saves your authored maps and custom Challenge records in IndexedDB on this browser and device. Maps are not uploaded to a public gallery. Clearing browser data removes them; export a .pipes.json file for backup or manual sharing. Imported maps create separate local copies. Image and 3D conversion happens on this device; source files are not uploaded or saved with your maps. Only the generated pipes are retained. Test play and Sculpture viewing do not submit or save competitive scores.
A temporary, essential session cookie connects a score to your current run and expires after one day. The server stores a hash of your network address that changes each day to limit excessive submissions. Unsubmitted runs are removed after one day when new runs are started. Submitted leaderboard records remain stored.
Party Climb uses private room codes. Your nickname, position and game actions are shared with the players in that room. Rooms expire after two hours; expired room data is removed when a new room is next created. Leaving ends your active player session. Direct connections use WebRTC and Google’s STUN service; other participants can learn your connection’s network address. When a direct connection cannot be established, gameplay data is relayed through this game’s Cloudflare service. Room credentials stay in memory and are not included in invite links. Party results are not submitted to the solo leaderboards.
Advertising placements are inactive by default. While they are inactive, this game does not load advertising scripts. When advertising is enabled, Google may use cookies and device information to deliver and measure advertisements. See Google’s advertising information. Google’s consent message offers consent, refusal and settings where required. Once ads are active, use the Privacy and cookie settings link to change your choices.
Optional creator support opens a separate Stripe checkout. Stripe processes payment and contact information under its privacy policy. This game does not collect or store card details. Support is a one-off contribution and is not required to play.
The game and leaderboard are hosted by Cloudflare. Technical request information is processed to deliver the game and protect the service. For questions about your leaderboard entry or privacy, contact themothershipsoundstudio@gmail.com.
This is an independent game inspired by the screensaver era. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. Scores receive basic checks; the leaderboard is for casual play.
